Larry - sorry for the delay to
follow up and send you my appreciation. I wish to thank you for your service on Sept
11 during our stay in Stowe. We all enjoyed our meal and everyone
has appreciated the quality and choice of your menu. This service
certainly helped us make good use of our time and enjoy our vacation from the
very beginning. Coming into "our" house with good food
already being prepared and cooking allowed everyone to relax and quick start
this, indeed too short, get-away. Also, Everyone has
asked me to commend you on the amount of food you prepared, especially for the
meat. Your estimation was just right
leaving just a few leftovers with everyone eating at their appetite. Again,
thanks for your excellent service. We will certainly recommend and use your
service again should we go back to Stowe!

I met Larry while on holiday in Stowe at a
local gourmet/ grocery store that he caters for on a part time basis. We stayed in a private home and thought it
would be nice for the moms to have a night off from cooking but also to have a
night at home rather than going to a restaurant. There was 12 of us
(3 families).
Larry gave me his website information so we
could look at some of the food selections which we found helpful. We selected a variety of items as we knew it
would be a challenge to please everyone.
It was a home-style menu (ribs, roast chicken, mashed potatoes, veggies,
garlic bread and salad).
Larry arrived exactly when he said he would
with all of his supplies. The entire
night was a great success. He made it
hassle free and provided us with a delicious meal (we ALL raved over the food -
kids included). I'm still dreaming of those
ribs! We also enjoyed sitting around
the kitchen island and watching Larry prepare.
He has a lovely demeanor and we took some helpful cooking tips home with
us. As we were devouring the food, he
quietly packed up his belongings and left us there to enjoy seconds :).
The evening proved to be our favorite night in
Stowe. Wish we had met him earlier in
the vacation. Not only was it the most
economical evening (his rates were extremely reasonable for what he provided),
it was the most relaxed and enjoyable evening for the whole family.
I highly recommend Larry and I'm sure he will
provide you and your guests the same quality service that he provided us.

We just wanted to let you know how
much we enjoyed the meals you fixed for us while we were in Stowe for
Christmas. The service you provided was invaluable to our overall vacation
experience. It was also so nice to have things in the refrigerator to give us a

Dear Chef Larry,
Thank you so much for the fantastic
meals. The gift certificate for your services was by far the best wedding gift we
received from any of our friends. We usually go out to eat all the time, which
gets to be very expensive and sort of a pain after a while! It really was quite
a treat to be able to eat some seriously good food at home. Your food was much
better than what we usually get at restaurants, and the convenience can't be
beat. It was so nice to not have to worry about "what's for dinner?"
for a whole week.
I've been craving your Ginger
Glazed Cornish game hens ever since. We invited some of our friends over to share
it with us, because your servings for 2 usually feed 3 or 4. They loved it. The
hens were really tasty and juicy, not like those dry chicken breasts I've had
at some other places. We also really loved the Apricot-crusted Ribs. They are
so sweet and tangy. The meat was so tender, it was
actually falling off the bone! I can't even eat ribs at other places now, and
believe me I've tried quite a few in the Boston area, and none come close in
terms of meatiness and basically sheer deliciousness. I also wanted to let you
know that we thought it was really considerate of you to come over in the
beginning for the consultation session to find out what we like and what we
don't like. It showed us that you really put a great deal of thought into this
and that you really wanted us to like what we were going to get. We told all of
our friends about our "personal chef (mostly to make them green with
envy). So, you may hear from a few of them in the future.

Dear Larry
I wanted to thank you for the lovely dinner you prepared
for our special evening with our dear old friends. The rack of lamb was so
tender and delicious as was the rest of the menu. It was a most unique gift and
turned out to be very enjoyable.

Larry,
I've been meaning to write this
note for a while now to let you know how much we appreciate all your efforts in
making our wedding feast so perfect. Everyone raved about the food and I don't
think any of us have ever had such a delicious meal at a wedding before. I
guess I shouldn't have been so surprised considering how reasonable the price.
That's always been the deal at your restaurant. I believe you acquired some new
customers as a result. I really hope so! You're offering folks really flavorful
and healthful food at more than reasonable prices and you deserve success at
such an endeavor. You know we'll be loyal customers and we wish you many more.
